Terms of Service — Autocierge

Effective Date: July 28, 2026

Governing Jurisdiction: Ontario, Canada

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the Autocierge website, web application, or associated services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Autocierge (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Service.

2. Description of Service & Product Sourcing Focus

Autocierge is an AI-driven digital platform designed to help users search for, source, and identify automotive care products, replacement consumables (such as wiper blades, fluids, filters, and batteries), and fitment specifications tailored to their specific vehicle (Year, Make, Model, and Trim).

Clarification of Scope: Autocierge is exclusively an automotive commerce search, product discovery, and fitment guidance tool. The Service does not provide active vehicle diagnostic scanning, physical mechanical repair services, or real-time dashboard fault light interpretation.

3. Product Fitment & User Verification Responsibility

While Autocierge sources data from technical catalogs, OEM specifications, and leading automotive brands, vehicle configurations can vary due to regional differences, trim variations, or prior aftermarket modifications.

Informational Sourcing Only: All product recommendations, fitment specs, and maintenance guides are provided for informational and search facilitation purposes only.

Mandatory User Verification: You agree and acknowledge that it is your responsibility to independently verify fitment accuracy, part numbers, and fluid specifications against your physical vehicle or official vehicle owner's manual before purchasing or installing any product.

No Compatibility Warranty: Autocierge is not liable for incorrect product orders, return shipping costs, installation errors, or vehicle incompatibility resulting from automated recommendations.

4. AI Output Disclaimer & No Mechanical Advice

The recommendations generated on the platform are powered by automated artificial intelligence models.

No Professional Advice: Responses generated by the Service do not constitute professional mechanical or engineering advice.

Consult Professionals: Always consult a certified automotive technician or manufacturer repair manual before carrying out any vehicle maintenance, fluid changes, or component installations.

5. User Accounts & Acceptable Use

To access certain features (such as “My Garage”), you may be required to register an account. You agree to provide accurate vehicle and account details and to keep your login credentials secure. You expressly agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract underlying platform code, prompt structures, or automotive database catalogs.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the Service or exceed platform rate limits.
  • Use the platform for any fraudulent or unlawful commercial enterprise.

6. Third-Party Retailers & E-Commerce Links

Autocierge may display links, prices, and availability from third-party retailers or brand partners.

  • We do not sell physical products directly unless explicitly stated.
  • We do not control third-party pricing, shipping times, inventory accuracy, or merchant return policies.
  • Transactions completed through outbound retailer links are strictly between you and the respective merchant.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials on Autocierge—including branding, logos, website layout, database schemas, custom prompt logic, and software code—are the intellectual property of Autocierge and are protected by applicable trademark, copyright, and trade secret laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Autocierge, its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service.
  • Any reliance on product recommendations or fitment data generated by the AI.
  • Vehicle damage or personal injury resulting from product installation or vehicle maintenance.

In no event shall Autocierge's total cumulative liability exceed $100 CAD or the total amount paid by you to the platform in the preceding 12 months.
